This map does not reflect accurate borders of Andhra state and Hyderabad states as of 1956. Bhadrachalam revenue division of East Godavari, Aswaraopet of West Godavari and some parts of Krishna District merged with Khammam and Nalgonda in 1959. Since this map is widely referred in so many other articles. This needs to be corrected.

a) In 1959 Bhadrachalam Revenue Division consisting Bhadrachalam and Nuguru Venkatapuram Taluks of East Godawari district, which were on the other side of the river Godawari were merged into Khammam on grounds of geographical contiguity and administrative viability.

b) In 1959 Aswaraopeta Mandalam is merged with Khammam Ref http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aswaraopeta c) Munagara Taluka, now in Nalgonda District, before 1956 historically part of Krishna District, was also part of Andhra and some revenue villages in Huzurnagar area were in part of the Andhra Region. Correction needed edit

This map is somewhat different from how South India was in 1956 politically. District Boundaries were a lot different. Districts formed after 1960s were shown as if they were in 1956.

And some districts are distorted in shape.
