The two gears in the top part of the photo are the same two gears. I used to own a Meccano set and had these gears. They cannot mesh in a parallel configuration. Leofric1 (talk) 17:01, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I can confirm the above note by simply looking at the gears. The way they are put together, they don't fit at all, the diagonal lines would cross each other. Pavlix (talk) 10:39, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
