Neither Oliver Berthoud nor Audrey Wind were pupils at the Harvey Grammar School. Oliver Berthoud was headmaster until 1952, when, to use the language of the time, he was "promoted" to be headmaster of Whitgift Middle (now Trinity) School, Croydon.
