Water table--Capillary flow

The text in the bottom layer should include mention of a water table. Perhaps capillary flow is a better description of the process of water transport from the water table to the freezing front. See Frost heaving. User:HopsonRoad 03:01, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Also, there should be evidence of ice lenses in the frozen zone, signs that the freezing front was once higher, assuming that the whole profile is frost-susceptible.User:HopsonRoad 22:16, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
