Weird... edit

It feels strange how the coat of arms partly overlaps the black and green bands. I liked the 2004-2013 flag better than this one.

I tried to revert it not long ago, but it got reverted back to the current version...

Help...

Strange as it may be, this file is required to display the current, up-to-date version of the Afghan flag, which, as you note, has a larger coat of arms. Wikipedia should primarily reflect official use and practice, not aesthetic appeal. You're free to use File:Flag of Afghanistan (2004–2013).svg to depict the "correct" version of the flag in any of your personal projects and the like, but not in an encyclopedia. Thanks.
