The field lines don't quite match, but oh well

I see that the field lines in this SVG don't match the original bitmap version. BUT the original Audels/Hawkins image is only an approximation of what the distorted field lines look like, so I guess you've made an approximation of an approximation. Should be good enough until some expert in the field decides to give a truly proper correction to the field lines arrangement.

Actually, when I did my field lines I was concentrating more on aesthetics than following the technical diagram.. :P I guess that's the problem when you're drawing stuff that isn't in your field. I will adjust the field lines to more closely represent the original as I guess these would be a closer approximation. -- Borb (talk) 11:32, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
