The labeling of the color phi phenomenon diagrams isn't quite right. The author of the current diagrams labels the x-axis as time. However, that axis represents horizontal displacement. The y-axis should be labeled 'time'. When one looks at typical color phi displays, the dots "move" horizontally. This diagram suggests that they move on the diagonal. However, if the y-axis represents time, then you would represent passage through time with the dots displaced along the diagonal. See Dennett and Kinsborn (1992) "Time and the Observer" for a similar display as the one here (but with the axes labeled correctly). Rogilvie (talk) 03:43, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
