Fair use justification edit

This image is tagged correctly. It's the cover of a comedy CD.

Now, the usage may not have followed guidelines. (The image is used on two pages to identify elements of the picture.) But that's not a problem with the tagging or a reason the image should be deleted. The usage should be adjusted where needed in order to meet the guidelines. -- ChrisB 20:13, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The {{non-free use disputed}} tag was also applied correctly. To use this non-free content, each individual usage needs to be accompanied with a detailed fair-use rationale; the {{non-free album cover}} tag itself notes this. This image is used thrice, and as such needs three separate rationales explaining why it's necessary to use this copyrighted content in those articles.

I think you're saying that the image is improperly applied, and while this is probably ultimately true, it doesn't negate the need for rationales for where it's being used. Be that as it may, I'm not judging where the image is being used or where it should be used, I'm just noting that the image is lacking required elements. I've replaced the tag appropriately.

If you don't believe that the image should be used where it is, remove it duly and add rationales for any usages you feel are appropriate. If there are no adequate rationales for using this copyrighted content in the free encyclopedia, the image will be deleted for lacking rationales in due course. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 20:44, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
