I adopted a dog from the Mahoning County Dog Pound on 06/20/12 My husband & I lost our Sharpei on 06/15/12. We had her since she was 7 weeks old, 03/14/00, her birth date was 01/01/00. She literally passed away on the operating table at our vet on 06/15/12, almost 12 1/2 years to the day. We miss her so much, but realize nothing can bring her back. She is buried in our back yard, and our black lab Rufus and we visit her and talk to her every chance we get. This new girl we have, they thought was a "Spitz Mix", and the place she was spayed at ( Angels for Animals) said " German Shepherd Mix" I have been looking online, and I swear that a " Black Norewegian Elkhound" could be our dog that we have named Shiloh. She is identical to the Wikpedia website. Cpould someone out there let me know.
