This is a BMW R26, no BMWR27. Main Evidence: On this Photograph you can see the upper an lower engine mounts fitted by means of studs through lugs welded on the frame, typical for the R26. The R27 engine was mounted on four rubber silentblocks on the lower part of he frame. It had the so called (German) 'Schwebemotor'.
