The picture dimensions are now the same as it appears in the article Earth's atmosphere. The fonts are now readable in these dimensions. Xilliah (talk) 13:51, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Percentages ? edit

If the total trace amounts equal .03768% then CO2 must be be less?? But, CO2 is labeled as .03870% —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.40.189.209 (talk) 04:47, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

This graph is very misleading! N2 and O2 make up 99.024% of the gases in our atmosphere. The remaining gases comprise less than 1% -- 0.9761301%, to be precise, and should be represented together. By arbitrarily pulling Argon (Ar) out of the remainder, and lumping it with N2 and O2, which overpower it by 84:1 and 22:1, respectively, it falsely paints Carbon Dioxide as the leader of the minor gases. This grossly distorts the truth, the fact that Argon is the leader of the minor gases, by a factor of 22:1. Was this done to pander to the anthropogenic global warming crowd?16:52, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
The graphs SHOULD depict N2 and O2 at the top, occupying 99.024% of the chart, with the remaining slice as minor gases. The second pie chart should depict Argon's lion's share at 95.678%, Carbon Dioxide's minor contribution at 4.041%, with the remainder as trace gases.16:52, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
