Why is it a soviet map?

I wanted to ask the same thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.233.77.104 (talk) 18:43, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Because space travel started during the Cold War era. The smaller piece of a map shows the countries as they are today.130.243.248.165 (talk) 21:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Another thing: Iceland should have a dot, since Canadian astronaut Bjarni Tryggvason was born there. Does anybody know how to edit the map? 130.243.248.165 (talk) 21:03, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, it should be the current map, with a smaller map for foreign ountries. H2ppyme (talk) 18:32, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Franklin Chang-Díaz is also a Costa Rican citizen, and a national hero in the country, Costa Rica should be highlited in this map.--Japoniano (talk) 01:10, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Australians in space edit

Australia should be highlighted, Andy Thomas is Australian and he went to space 219.90.252.221 (talk) 09:11, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thomas was born in Australia but wasn't part of a space launch until 1996, a decade after he became a US Citizen. --auburnpilot talk 21:43, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
