The photograph was the best quality one that I could find of Asahara that shows him in his capacity as the leader of the Aum Shinrikyo cult. The others I've seen are not of good quality or show the subject at his worst.
Moreover, I tried my best to follow the instructions, particularly after seeing the example set forward on Marshall Applewhite's page.
