Is there any way that this could actually be from Wrigley Field? The A's and Cubs are in opposite leagues, and prior to 2016, the Cubs didn't play in a World Series since 1945. If this is in Chicago, it would be against the White Sox, in Comiskey Park. However, according to the Baseball Almanac [1] The A's only played in Chicago in September in 1973. (Contrary to the picture stating it was July) According to my research and the photo, this is pitcher Vida Blue, pitching against the White Sox on September 23, 1973 at Comiskey Park.
