Quelle: Vierundzwanzigste Verordnung zur Änderung straßenverkehrsrechtlicher Vorschriften. In: Bundesgesetzblatt, Jahrgang 1997 Teil I Nr. 57, ausgegeben zu Bonn am 14. August 1997, S. 2028−2030. Mit der StVO-Novelle von 2009 erhielt das Zeichen am 1. September 2009 die Nummer 244.1. und die Bezeichnung Beginn einer Fahrradstraße. English: Sign No. 244: start of bicycle road. German sign since 1997.
