Deutsch: 1865 erscheinen mit der „Schwalbe“ und dem Schwesterschiff „Taube“ die ersten Schraubendampfer auf dem Zürichsee. Dieser Schiffstyp wurde nirgends so populär wie hier, wurden doch bis 1910 insgesamt 17 solcher Dampfer in verschiedenen Grössen in Dienst gestellt. Die „Schwalbe“ wurde 1907 mit einem Sulzer-Dieselmotor ausgerüstet und bekam den Namen „Uto“. |
