Summary

Description
English: Apr 2019. The 'Banqueting Hall' beneath the site of Joseph Williamson's house, Mason Street, Liverpool. This was likely built as a sandstone quarry and vaulted over in the early 19th century by Williamson. There are work lights, cones and a distant scaffold platform visible as this is still an active dig site, with excavations continuing in a chamber off the right hand wall (behind and below the red barrier). Photo by Kyle May, Friends Of Williamson's Tunnels.
