Description See the swatch with the cutout squares? It's someone's job to count how many different threads pull apart from the cloth after multiple washings. Overhead, not shown in the picture, hang hot and cold water pipes. They're an independent system off the grid from the rest of the building's water fountains and sinks and such. In this way, all the testing variables are tightly controlled.
