„In Silber ein bewurzelter grüner Eichenbaum mit einem frei schwebenden goldenen Ring um den Stamm.“
Zum 1. Januar 2019 sclossen sich die bisherige Stadt Dingelstädt und die Gemeinden Helmsdorf, Kefferhausen, Kreuzebra und Silberhausen der bisherigen Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Dingelstädt zur neuen Landgemeinde und Stadt Dingelstädt zusammen. Das bisherige Stadtwappen wurd seitdem als Wappen der Ortschaft Dingelstädt weitergeführt. Die neugebildete Landgemeinde und Stadt Dingelstädt führte zunächst kein eigenes Wappen, bis sie im Jahre 2020 ein neu geschaffenes Wappen annahm.[1]
