DescriptionVan Horn Road westbound at South Cushman Street intersection, Fairbanks, Alaska.jpg
English: The eastern end of Van Horn Road in Fairbanks, Alaska. Most of the area depicted lies along the border between Fairbanks city limits and the census-designated place boundaries of South Van Horn. The buildings shown in the background sit mainly in South Van Horn. Most of that development came about due to the Fairbanks North Star Borough government establishing a tax differential zone and deferment program to encourage development around the turn of the 21st century, something they also did with the commercial area at the eastern end of the Johansen Expressway.
