La gimnasta Valeria Pereyra, quien representará al país en los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres, explicó los detalles de su disciplina y habló sobre sus expectativas. "Me puse un objetivo muy alto pero creo que lo vamos a lograr, la idea es quedar dentro de las 24 primeras", dijo. La atleta más joven de la delegación nacional, con 16 años, reveló: "Pienso en el día del torneo, me lo imagino y lo visualizo siendo el mejor día de mi vida". En gimnasia artística femenina se compite en salto paralela, viga y suelo, "yo me destaco mucho en paralelas y en suelo, pero la sumatoria de los cuatro aparatos -- all around - forman parte del puntaje final", explicó. El 29 de julio será el día de su debut olímpico, donde competirá ante Suecia, Corea del Sur, Finlandia y Grecia. "Voy a disfrutar el torneo y a ganar experiencia, eso es lo que voy a buscar", completó Pereyra. |
