Español: Primera imagen tomada por el SAOCOM 1B, Península Valdés. Se observan en tonos muy claros los acantilados, captados por el radar durante una órbita ascendente. En contraste, se ven zonas muy oscuras en la costa, esto es debido a la poca profundidad de agua y la falta de viento, que aquieta el oleaje y no producen retorno apreciable de señal hacia el instrumento radar. Hacia el Sur de la península, pueden observarse dos franjas oscuras que se corresponden con la erosión eólica del terreno, producida por dunas de arena que se desplazan por acción de los vientos.
