English: Gulf of Mexico (Sept. 13, 2005) - An Aviation Boatswain’s Mate prepares an MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter assigned to the "Vanguards" of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron One Four (HM-14) for take off on the flight deck aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The Nimitz class aircraft carrier is currently deployed to the Gulf Coast in support of Hurricane Katrina operations. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations are led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
