Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) and the Italian destroyer Francesco Mimbelli (D 561) are underway during operations in the central Mediterranean Sea. Nimitz, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11), was deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
