Location: Grand Trunk Road, Lahore

Materials of Construction and Finishes: Brickwork, lime plaster, fresco paintings, faience mosaic, glazed tile work.
The tomb of Khan e Dauran is located in front of the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. Square in the plan, the tomb rest on a platform paved with bricks. The tomb has door openings on all four sides. There are blind arched niches on either side of the door openings. The zone of transition is octagonal and from inside have a smaller arched opening for ventilation. The zone of transition is formed by squinch arches. The tall drum makes the tomb monumental. There is a hemispherical dome that finally rests on the circular drum. The dome and soffit of the entrance archways were beautifully decorated with fresco paintings. The tomb is decorated with glazed blue and yellow tilework, laid primarily in floral designs. The tomb’s dome is decorated with blue tilework in a chevron pattern.
