Description |
This circuit is for the "Tiny Orbo Replication 2." When the magnet is at top dead center, the circuit pulses the toroid coil for ~ 10us, then the circuit immediately shorts the toroid to maintain such current as long as possible as the magnet escapes the toroid. This method allows the energy stored in inductance to be used as useful energy to appreciably maintain the current pulse. Note, this method is for designs that rotate well above 10000 rpm. I am the creator of this design, and I created the image. |
