File:The process of how action potential passes through a neuron.svg

Original file(SVG file, nominally 512 × 291 pixels, file size: 119 KB)

Summary

Description
English: An in-depth process of how an action potential will pass through a neuron during neuron transmission including the 4 stages: resting potential, depolarization, re-polarization, and back to resting potential. The diagram shows how sodium ions and potassium ions interact to show how the changing of charge allows the action potential to cross with the use of facilitated diffusion and active transport.
