Summary

Description
English: The Parish Church of St Bridget & St Cwyfan, Dyserth A church was recorded in Dyserth in the Domesday Book of 1086, but the exact date of any foundation is unknown and very little is known of the saints to whom the church is dedicated. The original structure of the church would have been of wood and has long since disappeared. The earliest parts of the current building date from the 13th century but it has been repaired and renovated many times over the centuries, most notably by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1870s.
