Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as cover art. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is used in a description of the source of the image described in the main article. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original work, namely the book cover creator's ability to provide book cover design services and in turn marketing books to the public.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	As a book cover, the image is not replaceable by free content; any other image that shows the packaging of the book would also be copyrighted, and any version that is not true to the original would be inadequate for identification or commentary. Using a different image would be misleading as to the identity of the work.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	Only the cover will be used to illustrate the comparison.
