English: The Haskell Free Library in Derby Line Vermont straddles the US-Canada border. One of the rare monuments in the National Registry of Historic Places that remains built over the two nations. The obelisk in the foreground and the row of stones behind it is the US-Canada international border. This building has been recognized as a historic site by both the United States and Canada. This library can be used both by the citizens of the United States and Canada and remains open nearly 40 hours a week.
