About three weeks ago, I went on a business trip to Dublin. Since returning I've been quite busy, and am still catching up on the photos. Here is another batch. The first day of the conference was a very light schedule: just registration and an opening reception in the evening. Thus, I had all day for sightseeing. A large part of the morning and early afternoon I spent exploring "Georgian Dublin," primarily Trinity College and the area between Merrion Square Park and St. Stephen's Green. Given the large number of photographs of colorful doors that I came back with, I decided I had to make my own version of the "Doors of Dublin" shot. I spent a while working on this, and agonized over whether I wanted to try to line up all the doors exactly. In the end I decided that I liked the slight raggedness, although I'm not totally positive it was the right call.
