English: Diagram of wing venation usual in many soldier flies except subfamily Chiromyzinae (Diptera: Stratiomyidae). Some branches of media can be incomplete and not reaching the edge of wing. Other Stratiomids have only three veins arising from the discal cell (see File:Stratiomyidae_wing_veins-2.svg)
