Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Mallinson, an expert in Sanskrit documents and in hatha yoga, both as a scholar and as a practitioner, and widely travelled in India, states that the Stambha is rarely used; the image shown is the only one so far seen, and is presented in the cited chapter as something new to yoga research, so it isn't likely that an alternative will be found. This particular photograph is discussed along with Mallinson's research in the article.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	This is the only non-free file in the article; it is used nowhere else; it is cropped and reduced in quality from the original.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The image is one small detail of a large book; it is presented cropped and at reduced resolution; the book is for a strictly academic audience, and university library sales of the book are not likely to be affected by one fuzzily-reproduced image.
