Note the helicopter's nickname "Desert Duck". The "Desert Duck" was the nickname of the HS-1 Detachment 1 helicopter(s) assigned to the "Commander, Middle East Forces" (COMIDEASTFOR) aboard the command ships USS La Salle (AGF-3) or USS Coronado (AGF-11), mostly stationed at Bahrain.
