Description

The chapel of the Holy Spirit (1440–1514) is one of the finest examples of flamboyant gothic in Picardie.

La chapelle du Saint-Esprit, construite entre 1440 et 1515 est un bijou de l'art gothique flamboyant picard, construite afin d'accueillir des pèlerins venus vénérer un crucifix miraculeux venant de Jérusalem trouvé dans une barque qui s'échoua au port en 1101. Elle est décorée d'une dentelle de sculptures décoratives, et comprend de remarquables voûtes élevées, ornées de clés de voûte pendantes.
