Summary

Description
English: This is a chlorophytum comosum or spider plant to you and me. As you can see it desperately needed re-potting.

In spite of this tight root ball, the plant is healthy, lives outside and has sent out numerous runners which have rooted in the soil. It even has flowers which indicate it is a mature plant.

Thanks to my timely intervention, it now lives in a larger pot which I dare say it will outgrow in a year's time. (original text)
