DescriptionRoberttown village street - geograph.org.uk - 68929.jpg
English: Roberttown village street. Roberttown is part of the township of Liversedge, and was one of the two manors. No doubt Robert was an early owner of the Manor, and the village is sometimes written 'Robert Town', as on the OS New Popular map. This street was the main road before the turnpike road (now the A62) was built. The houses on the right are all modern, replacing a long terrace of cottages.
