English: Roadworks on Parkway, Bury St. Edmunds The building on the left houses several restaurants and the multiscreen cinema. Beyond that we see the multi-storey car park, with clock tower.
I believe the works are raising the central reservation in an attempt to stop people crossing where they want to, and force them to use the inconveniently placed official crossing. |
