Summary

Description
English: Rigside. Former mining village with a nearby opencast hole. Others are planned for the area, and this is quite a hot environmental topic at present in Scotland. Village is largely off the main road, just as well as it's the main route from several mines to the coal railhead near Lanark. Taken while visiting the rather good roadside caff.
