English: A stone wall and the cement foundation for the hotel is all that remains today of the Sandberg Summit Hotel — on the Ridge Route in Southern California.
  • Even so, it remains a favorite picnic stop because of the cool air afforded by the elevation (4170 feet above sea level), and the shade afforded from mature pine and California Canyon live oak trees (Quercus chrysolepis).
