Description
English: The 1860 cornerstone of the long-gone Raleigh and Gaston Railroad building as seen on 12 September 2008. The building once stood where the North Carolina state government complex now stands. The cornerstone is now in storage at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh, NC. The Raleigh and Gaston Railroad merged with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad in 1900.
