The Treaty Event aims at promoting universal adherence to the most important multilateral treaties for which the Director General of the IAEA is depositary. It provides an additional opportunity to deposit instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

Angola The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Angola to the IAEA, HE Ms Teodolinda Rosa Rodrigues Coelho, deposited, on behalf of Angola, an instrument of accession to the Convention on Nuclear Safety and an instrument of accession to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and of ratification of its Amendment. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Mário Pacheco from the Permanent Mission.

Côte d’Ivoire

The Resident Representative of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to the IAEA, HE Mr Roger Alberic Kacou, deposited, on behalf of Côte d’Ivoire, an instrument of ratification of the Convention on Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident and an instrument of ratification of the Convention on Assistance in Case of a Nuclear Accident or Radiological Emergency. The Ambassador was accompanied by Counsellor of the Permanent Mission, Mr Santini Saidei.
