Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Goruia, potrivit anexei nr. 1.10, se compune dintr-un scut cu partea inferioară rotunjită.În prima partiţie, în câmp roşu, sunt reprezentate o cruce treflată, un porumbel şi o carte, toate din aur.În a doua partiţie, în câmp albastru, este o moară cu palete, simbolizând moara Andrieşilor.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Crucea treflată, porumbelul şi cartea sunt simboluri care se regăsesc în prezentarea Etimosia din scena "Judecata de apoi", ortodoxismul fiind semnificativ pentru această comună.Moara cu palete reprezintă Moara Andrieşilor, un monument istoric atestat al zonei.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
