Description
English: Elements from two or three armours have been combined to make a diplomatic gift. Given to Prince Alfred by the Emperor Meiji 1869. Helmet made in 1537 and signed by Myōchin Nobuie. Other parts Myōchin Nobuie (c.1504-54) and Myōchin Munetora (c.1820-1868). From the Royal Collection. Displayed in an exhibition at the Queen's Gallery 2023.
