English: Atlantic Charter Conference, 10-12 August 1941: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS McDougal (DD-358) pulls alongside the Royal Navy battleship HMS Prince of Wales (53), to transfer U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the battleship for a meeting with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The conference took place in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.
