Description
Nederlands: Stadssecretaris Jacob de Vogelaer (1625–1697), geportretteerd aan het werk. Hij zit aan zijn bureau, waar een jonge klerk hem een brief brengt. De scène speelt zich af in het nieuwe kantoor van de stadssecretarie. Vanaf 1655 was dat gevestigd in het nieuwe stadhuis.
