English: Located in Pratu Chaisubdistrict, PhraNakhon SiAyutthaya district, the Ayutthaya Studies Institute, PhraNakhon SiAyutthaya RajabhatUniversity, was established with the aims of undertaking further conservation, promotion, research, and distribution of Ayutthaya’s art and culture in accordance with the Act of Rajabhat University, B.E. 2547, Section 7 which states that Rajabhat universities will serve as a higher education institute focusing on local development in order to promote national knowledge, to restore the nation’s wealth of knowledge, to preserve local wisdom and to create new knowledge for the benefit, security and prosperity of the Thai people. The Rajabhat University will engage in equitable and sustainable management, conservation and use of natural resources and the environment. The institute functions as a learning centre where the upper floor hold an exhibition associated with Ayutthaya studies, conventions, and official ceremonies, while the ground floor is the office of Ayutthaya Studies Institute is open daily from 09:30 to 15:00, closed on public holidays.
