DescriptionPauline Bewick at Feile na Greine, Waterville, Co Kerry.JPG
English: The Feile na Greine festival opening was set in the midst of what Minister Jimmy Deenihan termed 'the best exhibition of Pauline Bewick paintings' that he had seen - and he has known her a long time. She gave an enlightening speech in which she said that she and other artists sometimes paint pictures that foretell or predate events. Here she was referring to a triptych of New York in the exhibition which seemed to show a plane going into the Hudson River - before one actually did and the pilot, in a perfect landing, saved all passengers.
