Description
English: The skeleton of a wooly mammuth (Mammuthus primigenius) in the Natural History Museum of Slovenia. It was found in 1938 in Nevlje (Municipality of Kamnik, northern Slovenia). It is the symbol of the museum. On the right, a cave bear (Ursus spelaeus) skeleton.
Slovenščina: Okostje mamuta (Mammuthus primigenius) v Prirodoslovnem muzeju Slovenije. Najdeno je bilo leta 1938 v Nevljah (Občina Kamnik, severna Slovenija). To okostje je simbol Prirodoslovnega muzeja. Na desni je vidno tudi okostje jamskega medveda (Ursus spelaeus).
