Description
English: Telegraph Island in a fjord at Musandam Peninsula, Oman. This island, having a diameter of about 150 meters, was home to several british when the telegraph line to India was built. Not all of its inhabitants could cope with the isolation. The phrase "going round the bend" has its origin from this island.
